The event, scheduled to begin on January 10, 2025, will honor the achievements of over 16,000 graduating students, including notable standouts with exceptional academic records.

Highlights of UNILAG’s 55th Convocation
Record-Breaking Graduates
This year, UNILAG will confer:
- 561 First Class Degrees and Distinctions
- 3,916 Second Class Upper Degrees
- 3,763 Second Class Lower Degrees
Special recognition will go to Damilare Haroun Adebakin and Samuel Akinade Badekale from the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics for achieving a perfect 5.0 CGPA, as well as Olamide Idris Emida, the top graduate in Humanities with a 4.95 CGPA.
