Role: Drilling Logistics Lead III
Main Functions:
As a Drilling Logistics Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing logistics and materials for offshore and onshore drilling operations. This includes implementing logistics strategies, supervising contractor staff, overseeing inventory management, and ensuring efficient material movement to rig locations. You will work under the direction of the Drilling Operations Superintendent and report functionally to the Drilling Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review drilling programs for each rig/well to determine equipment, tools, and material requirements.
- Ensure safe storage and inventory control of drilling equipment/tools.
- Oversee procurement, fabrication, and repair processes for timely replenishment.
- Implement logistics strategies and supervise drilling logistics contractor staff.
- Manage material handling operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in supply chain management and logistics, particularly in international drilling operations.
- Strong background in drilling support activities, materials, and equipment handling.
- Associate’s Degree or higher with formal training in mechanical trades.
- Hands-on experience in remote frontier operations and new project startups.
- Proficiency in material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to uphold ethical labor supervision, inventory control, and contract administration.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- High adaptability and flexibility in diverse working environments.
- Proficient computer skills with strong administrative and organizational abilities.
