The University of Ibadan Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has initiated the 2024/2025 scholarship program aimed at supporting financially disadvantaged students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be registered students of the University of Ibadan.
- A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 is required.
- Candidates should demonstrate financial need.
Application Process:
Interested students should submit:
- A signed application letter (maximum two pages) including:
- Full name
- Course and year of study
- Email address and phone number
- State of origin
- A photocopy of the current student identity card
- A letter from the Head of Department detailing the applicant’s CGPA from the previous academic session
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
Submission Deadline:
Duly completed applications must be submitted in person to the ASUU-UI Secretariat, Mellanby Hall, University of Ibadan, before 12 noon on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
This scholarship is part of ASUU’s ongoing efforts to support academically capable students facing financial challenges.
