Why Did JAMB Postpone the 2025 UTME Registration?
JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed that the registration delay was necessary to make adjustments to the registration portal. The primary reasons for the change include:
- Dis-accreditation of law programs in several universities, following a directive from the Council of Legal Education (CLE).
- Detection of fraudulent activities at some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers, leading JAMB to intensify scrutiny and disapprove non-compliant centers.
JAMB Apologizes for the Inconvenience
JAMB has officially apologized to candidates and stakeholders for any inconvenience caused by the registration delay. The board reassured the public that the extra time will be used to ensure a seamless and fair registration process.
